The stock dividend has a general formula:

Example: (RM 1 / RM 20) * 100% = 5% div return
The answer to this question is variable. It is very much dependent on the Fixed Deposit rate.
For instance, if the FD rate is 7%, the dividend rate of nothing less than 8% can be considered decent. In the same scenario, if the FD rate is as little as 2.5%, then a dividend rate of 3% is also good enough!
